[VIDEO] Answer the Tap – Scott Mann tells Eric’s Story
In the last 2 years I've come across a lot of really cool people
such as elite Army Special Forces Green Berets. One in particular has had a tremendous impact on my life, (Ret.) Lt. Col. Scott Mann. Scott has taken his 20+ years of experience as a Green Beret and is now teaching civilians the meaning of being "Rooftop Leaders". A rooftop leader is someone with a set of specialized skills that makes an impact, with a purpose, that is much bigger than you, and that will leave a long-lasting legacy after you've left this earth. This skill set inspires people to follow you not because they have to, but because they choose to.
Scott has led missions into some of the most trust depleted areas on earth, like Iraq and Afghanistan. The goal of his missions was not to take over villages but to form bridging trust between the U.S. military and the people of the village. To help the little guy stand up against the big guy. And, he did that by leading with story, leaving tracks and connecting deeply with those he came in contact with. As we all navigate our own struggles in life - some deeper than others - we too have to bridge trust first within ourselves; to face our adversity and rise above the noise of life to thrive in life. And, then we can help teach others how to bridge trust in their life.
As a coaching client of Scott's, he has helped me to develop my core set of values that are driving my energy and direction in the service of others thriving in life again.
Thanks for reading.
